A devastating fire erupted in Wahidnagar, located in ward number 9 of Falka block area, Katihar district, reducing everything to ashes. The blaze, triggered by a spark from one house, quickly spread to engulf seven houses belonging to five families. Tragically, the inferno consumed not only the structures but also valuable possessions, including vehicles like tractors, tempos, bikes, and e-rickshaws, along with grains and cash amounting to lakhs of rupees. Amidst the chaos, a girl and a man sustained injuries while attempting to salvage money and jewelry from the flames. They were promptly rushed to the hospital with the assistance of locals.
